Don't let the bastards grind you down, bitches!
A tribute to the The Handmaid's Tale, so many emotions watching the series.
So I decided to honor it.
Thanks to Elisabeth Moss, Margaret Atwood and the rest of the crew to make it happen.
I owe them tears, countless "fuck, it's not fair, you bastards!", thoughts on society, women rights and so on. It was a hard story to tell, and they did an amazing job. I recommend you to watch it.
DESIGNERS SECTION: I decided to make the tribute creating a custom font.
I've based it on the condensed font they've used for the main title design, but adding a serif treatment to make it more dramatic.
The phrase you read below is taken from an episode, and it has a strong import relevance within the story. I consider it as a sort of payoff of the main character, and I loved it.
Here you can see this first graphic I posted on Instagram, but I'm working on the whole typeface, so soon you'll see it in its entirety.
More to come, enjoy!
